Tutor

Virginia Bell offers services as a private tutor of English and Composition on an hourly basis. She knows how to prepare high school students to write essays and compositions that will help them succeed now and in the near future when they head off to college.  Her pedagogical approach is student-centered, that is she helps students to find their own voices and unique arguments and then guides them in how to communicate those ideas most effectively and persuasively on paper.  With a B.S. in Education, a PH.D. in Comparative Literature and decades of teaching experience at the undergraduate college level, Bell has helped countless young adults improve their confidence and writing skills.
